Will shipping and local pickup both be available?
The site is being structured for item-level fulfillment. Smaller pieces can receive shipping profiles, while furniture or fragile pieces can be marked for pickup, local delivery, or specialized shipping once the owner finalizes those rules.
What happens when a one-of-a-kind item sells?
The production version will use one authoritative inventory state. Once a payment is verified, the item should become sold or unavailable everywhere so another shopper cannot purchase the same piece.
Are age, maker, material, and authenticity claims guaranteed?
No claim should be presented as fact without a reasonable basis. Real listings will distinguish observed facts, owner knowledge, estimates, and uncertainty, with close-up photos of marks or condition details when relevant.
Can I consign or sell an item through the website?
A future intake workflow can make that possible, but the owner still needs to approve the final consignment policy, accepted categories, commission structure, payout timing, and required seller information before it becomes a real service.
